I am now 20 years old. For the last 8 years I have been suffering from a chronic nerve disorder. At first it was just constant pain and nasty mood swings. Then, sensory overloads and worsening depression/anxiety. Now, my eyes spasm back and forth frequently, my hands shake horribly, and no matter how hard I try to sleep, I just can't. I cannot drive. I cannot work. I cannot paint or draw anymore... I've decided to try my hand at a fundraiser in an attempt to cover some of my medical expenses. Today was my birthday.

I went through alot these past few days, the boy I love doesnt love me back. I lost a friend. But you know what, despite all that I can still look in the mirror and smile. I am Me. I said what I needed to say. I poured my heart out. I feel better. I set myself free. I feel lighter. I am proud of who I am. I'm a little odd but I bake a fine cake and paint a lovely picture.
